Lead-free series N45 standard capacity water pressure reducing valves are used in commercial and residential applications to reduce incoming water pressure for protection of plumbing system components and to reduce water consumption. It consists of a bronze body construction, stainless steel integral strainer, thermoplastic seat and cage, thermal expansion bypass, and sealed spring cage for waterworks pit installations. Valves are available in Female threaded union or solder union inlet x NPT threaded Female outlet. 400 P.S.I. (27.6 bar) maximum working pressure, adjustable reduced pressure range from 25 to 75 P.S.I. (172 to 517 kPa) delivery pressure, standard factory reduced pressure setting is 50 P.S.I. Water temperature range: 33 deg. F. to 180 deg. F. Meets UPC, ASSE 1003, CSA standard B356, ANSI A112.26.2, Southern Standard Plumbing Code and IAPMO listed. Manufactured to include no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content on wetted surfaces
