This versatile NSF 61, ASSE 1017, ASSE1070 mixing valve provides the ultimate performance for domestic hot water applications. The 5123-WH is specifically designed to be mounted directly on the water heater for a fast and simple installation. The ASSE1017 certification allows for domestic hot water storage at temperatures high enough to increase the effective storage capacity of a water heater, kill harmful bacteria and still be delivered at a safe 120 Deg F or less. The 5123-WH is specifically designed to be mounted directly on the water heater for a fast and simple installation. Ease of installation is the goal of this mixing valve. To help to accomplish this a recirculation port is included right on the valve. This allows the return leg of the recirculation system to be connected directly to the mixing valve, eliminating a secondary connection point.
