Holdrite 117-8S S Series- Straight Coupling Joint Restraints

The HOLDRITE #117-S Series No-Hub Fitting Restraints are designed to reinforce no-hub cast iron installations of Straight Couplings, in accordance with the installation instructions of U.S. cast iron soil pipe manufacturers, CISPI Designation 301-18, 310-18, and the 2006 CISPI Installation Handbook. The #117-S (2" – 8” in size) retain the adjoining piping sections using stainless steel bands which must be torqued to 60 in/lbs minimum. When installed correctly, these restraint brackets achieve a safe thrust pressure rating equal to 50' head of water pressure. For sizes 10”-15”, heavy duty steel pipes clamp and straps are used and require 60 ft/lbs of torque on pipe clamp bolts
