This 4 inch lead free MasterSeries® configurable reduced pressure zone backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. This valve features a longer lay-length for drop-in replacement of competitor?s Z-pattern valves. It is used in industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants and is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines and other health hazard installations requiring maximum protection. This assembly with domestic non-rising stem shutoff valves consists of a lead free body, test cocks, spring loaded check valves, and a pressure differential relief valve. Improved with a stainless-steel relief valve seat, these rugged assemblies yield greater dependability and extended valve life.
